Dispite the technical difficulties with the tracker today, TC made it safe and sound to Port Hardy. After a busy start and the wind dying down later in the day, there will be much discussion between all the racers at the Quarterdeck Pub tonight before heading out to Winter Harbor tomorrow and the west coast or off shore of Vancouver Island. Two more crew will be joining us and we're looking forward to having them. Here are some great action shot of TC and crew from the Hardwicke Island leg of the race taken from the shore by Beyond the Sea Studio.Stay tuned for more updates!
Some behind the scenes of getting ready to start the race before we leave the dock. Thank you Telegraph Cove for the hospitality, a beautiful spot if you get a chance to visit! After a yummy salmon bbq at the fish farm, the crew left the dock bright and early for the start of the fourth leg of the race, taking them from Hardwicke Island to Telegraph Cove. Here with more information we go live to our skipper for an update.... After leaving Campbell River at the ungodly hour of who knows what time it really was to get to the start line for the third leg of the race, Thursday's Child made it to Hardwicke Island. The stop for the night off shore at the Marine Harvest Fish farm, where the entire crew will spend the night on the boat. Results will be posted tomorrow, but until then here's a game of "Where's Thursday's Child" similar to the Waldo books.

Meet Kate, one half of Thursday's Child's amazing shore crew. Here is just a peak into her daily life as she preps meals for the crew to help keep them going on the next leg of the race. We aren't talking dehydrated camping gruel, she surprises and dazzles the crew's taste buds daily with the creations that come out of her mobile kitchen. Be on the look out for the shore crew as they follow TC round the island in the official Thursday's Child Van. The second leg took Thursday's Child from Comox to the lovely Campbell River, with more details we now join Benoit on the docks. |
