Love Us? Hate Us? Just give us your money!

On Saturday, August 23rd, the crew of Maritime Diva and Thursday's Child in conjunction with the Vancouver Rowing Club will  host a 1 day Charity Regatta  for the Georgia Strait Alliance, to raise money to protect our coastal waters.

WHAT THE HECK IS THE GSA?
That is a great question - I'm so glad you asked. The GSA is a registered charity in BC, and works with the boating community to protect and restore the marine environment and promote the sustainability of Georgia Strait, its adjoining waters, and communities. Through it's programs: Ocean Literacy,  Species at Risk, Clean Marine BC and the Waterfront Initiative, the GSA works to foster understanding and stewardship of the marine environment and improve the social, cultural, economic and environmental  sustainability of our waters. You can read more about GSA’s mission and programs at www.georgiastrait.org.  My god I sound literate - I didn't just copy that from the Maritime Diva site...

Wow - I'm impressed and convinced - How can I help?
Why it's simple! Give us your money by clicking to the left or enter your own boat in the regatta!
