I've recently discovered the therapeutic value of knitting, well as close to knitting as I'll ever get. I call it MAN KNITTING! I've been a splicing, soft shackle making machine! The great thing about soft shackles is that they are incredibly light, don't hurt as much when they hit you, and are as strong as the line that holds them. I suspect I will replace most of the shackles aboard my boat with these.
